I dont actually own this shirt so I had to use a photo of it, but this is a shirt done by the local company Kerosin clothing. I always love supporting local companies and artists, and this is something that I really would be proud o support. This design has a graffiti type style to it that I just love. It also shows the creativity of some of Champaign's youth!

fingerprints
This was in the 2008 edition of the Print design annual. It's a dvd package. What drew me to it was the fingerprint on the cover. When small things are blow up to such a large scale they always look interesting to me, and I think it takes a great designer to make something so simple look so great. While I don't remember what this dvd was for, I would sure buy it, just due to the cover.
This CD I found was great. I'm never usually drawn to covers that include pictures on the cover, but this was awesome. With the circle in the front it made the picture just seem like a background. The picture also conveys an emotion that makes me feel like the music will be somewhat sad and slow. I would love it if more band was art like this!
Screen printing.
Fah Fah Fyah!
I found this image in Communication Arts. I thought it was interesting because of the "inked" feel to it. It looks like it could have even been stamped or screen printed. I also like the use of bright colors on a somewhat subtle background. There's not too much else to it. I just thought it was cool

Hand drawn designs
So I love CD artwork that is done by hand. There's just so much you can do by hand that would be hard to do with a computer. This especially. This person lays down watercolor and then does the design over it. I think it's really neat. I found this guy through a friend, and this designer is doing a shirt for my friends shirt company. I'm excited to see how it looks. Hopefully I can add more like this on here soon.

simplicity

This was in the Print 2008 Design annual. I didn't even read what it was for because i felt like it didn't even matter. I like this design because it is probably one of the simplest designs i've ever seen. The designer also made a face without using and stereotypical face elements. All thats show is a beard and glasses and the message it portrayed greatly. I love it.
